No sweat, no exercise
Unlike other weight loss programs, we don’t saddle you with unattainable exercise goals to lose the weight. In fact, during the 50-day Body N Balance program, we may advise you to avoid intensive exercise. That’s because certain exercise may up your cortisol levels – the stress hormone – which can cause your body to hold on to stored fat, and be counterproductive for you. One of the reasons that other plans fall short is that they fail to recognize that exercise at this point in the journey can do more harm than good for some people.
You know those weekly weigh-ins that come with a heaping dose of shame and disapproval from the ‘fad programs’ if you’ve gained a couple pounds? You won’t get those here. There is absolutely no shame in our game. The reality is that most all of our clients begin to experience such fast results that they are super excited to get on the scale daily to see how much weight they’ve lost, which in turn creates amazing momentum and empowerment! If you have an off day or week, no worries, we’ll support you and readjust the plan if necessary. No judgment, just collaboration and compassion.
For any plan to be successful, it needs to be based on solid, objective information. That’s why with Body N Balance, you’ll be monitored with regular body composition analysis’ (BCA) that tell us how your body’s key health indicators are progressing toward your goals. If the BCA shows that things are improving? Great. If not, we’ll make the appropriate adjustments.
Many of the ‘fad’ weight loss plans require you to purchase and eat their prepackaged “food-like substances” in order to lose weight. That’s the opposite of the Body N Balance approach. Instead of making you dependent on us for your meals, we teach you how to eat in the real world. Not only is our approach more sustainable and realistic, but it’s better for you too. Those prepackaged meals, snacks, and shakes are loaded with chemicals and preservatives that actually impede your body’s ability to function at its highest level in addition to causing more imbalance, weight gain and potential health issues.
If you’ve been burned in the past by ‘fad’ diets that wow you at first but then leave you back where you started—or worse, heavier than where you started—you may be hesitant to try again.
